Meet Rene Vance — Southern Ohio Real Estate Agent and Proud Member of Vance Team Realtors
Hi, I am Rene Vance — real estate agent, animal lover, gardener, and the other half of Vance Team Realtors alongside my husband and business partner, Bryan Vance.
I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, and made Southern Ohio my permanent home in 2002. Over twenty years later, I cannot imagine being anywhere else. This region has given me so much, and I pour that same love and commitment back into every client I serve here.
My Path To Real Estate
Before real estate, I spent the majority of my career in retail management. I grew up working in my family's restaurant in Akron — learning early on what it means to work hard, serve people well, and show up every single day with a good attitude. That foundation carried me through a successful retail career that took me all the way to store manager and district manager with Countryside Rentals DBA Rent2Own — a well-known and respected company right here in our region.
Managing people, operations, and customer relationships at that level taught me skills that translate directly into real estate — organization, communication, problem solving, and an unwavering commitment to the people I serve.
In 2015, Bryan and I launched Vance Team Realtors together, and I have loved every single day of it.

Like Bryan, my approach with every buyer and seller is simple —
I do not sell my clients. I serve them, guide them, and help them make the best decision for themselves.
I am genuinely honored every time a client puts their trust in me to get the job done for them. Whether I am helping a first-time buyer purchase their very first home or helping a seller successfully close a chapter and move on to the next one, the satisfaction I feel when that process comes together is something I never take for granted.
You have to be willing to give more than you receive. That is not just a professional philosophy for me — it is simply how I live my life.

Work Ethic: I bring everything I have to every transaction, every single time. My retail management background taught me how to manage complexity, stay organized under pressure, and always put the client experience first.
Local Knowledge With An Outside Perspective. Having relocated to Southern Ohio from Akron, I understand what it feels like to put down roots in a new community. That perspective makes me especially effective when working with relocation buyers who are navigating an unfamiliar area and need someone they can genuinely trust to guide them.
Consistent Production Bryan and I are proud annual members of the Ohio Realtors Presidents Club — an honor awarded each year based on sales volume. It is a reflection of the trust our clients place in us and the work we put in every single day to earn that trust.
A Little About Rene Outside Of Real Estate
I am an animal lover through and through. At home on our mini farm, I share my life with our dogs Darby and Riley, our cats Abe and Sly, and our three horses and donkey. The farm keeps us busy and grounded, and I would not trade it for anything.
I also love my garden, traveling, and kayaking. Two of my favorite places in the entire world are our Myrtle Beach condo — a perfect place to recharge — and Symi, Greece — the beautiful Greek island where my father was born and raised before he immigrated to the United States. Visiting Symi is always something deeply personal and special for me.
